Sensei Joe Muscatello has pursued martial arts since he was 5 years old. By the time he was sixteen, Joe had trained in several different arts including Washin Ryu Karate, Tracy Kenpo, and Choy Li Fut style Kung Fu. By the time Joe was 16, he was looking for an art that offered real world self defense. At age 18, Joe found it at Valley Shore Martial Arts, teaching as an assistant instructor. While training with Sensei Keith he was introduced to Master Frank Shekosky, his current instructor. Through Sensei Frank, Joe has achieved the rank of Sandan in kenpo and the rank of Lakan Isa (First Degree Black Belt) in Modern Arnis. Joe also holds a Practictioner Level 1 rank in Kyusho Jitsu under Grandmaster Evan Pantazi.
